Who Am I?

I am a quilter, a teacher, a writer, a laugher.

I have a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley,
and a love of quilting from my aunt Ethel Bonotto.

And magic moves me.

Why magic? (There's no need to ask "Why quilts?")

Because I dream. I write fantasy and science fiction,
and I study folklore. I ponder the imagination
and the spaces in between the logic.

And I see magic dancing in our quilts.
